Web Design Brief
youdraw.com is a website that was launched in 1999 and redesigned and upgraded in 2000.
It was one of the first websites to offer an online drawing tool and was built to gather 500,000 125x250pixel drawings for a book project. This first objective remains, BUT AT A SECONDARY LEVEL the website has evolved and become a simple platform for drawing.
What we are looking for.
- A new simple, friendly, clean and easy to use look and feel for the youdraw website.
It is OK to use google fonts

Target Market(s)
- Close to 520,000 drawings have allready been created on youdraw
- People using youdraw are from all ages and social groups (see our facebook fan page at http://www.facebook.com/pages/youdraw/236119268683), so the site needs to stay welcoming, intuitive and easy to use
- Youdraw differentiates from other drawing tools in its simplicity (no colors, no effects, fixed size) . It's sort of the pacman of online drawing :-)
- Users like the challenge of a basic tool - only good artists can manage good drawings
- Users like to share their drawings (having your drawing seen by others is as important as the drawing experience)
