Logo Design Brief

It’s a start up physiotherapy business in a small town in North Queensland. I will be the only Pelvic floor Physio for two hours in any direction. I will start my business one day a week and allow it to grow in hours and days. I don’t plan on having any employees until I have a strong following of clientele. Novella Health Your story is important. At Novella Health we believe telling your story is the first action to healing and rehabilitation. From complex conditions to simple injuries we are here to assess and treat your issues starting with your story. We assess and treat: Women’s health Physio pelvic floor Workplace and sporting injuries Neck and headache Treatment techniques include: Manual therapy Massage therapy Exercise therapy Western acupuncture and dry needling Pilates based rehab We can also provide Functional Capacity assessment for pre-employment or continuing employment after an injury. Basically I am specialising in Women’s health but I don’t want that to be the only thing that I treat because I want some variety BUT I need a draw card and want to stand out as more than just a normal Physio. My goal is for people to recommend me to others by saying “go see camille she really listens and can help you” or “she couldn’t help me but she referred me to someone who could so go see her as she won’t waste your time or money”. The name of my company comes from a personal place for a few reasons. My mother was a librarian. She died recently but she was a big influence in my life. She explained the power of a story and how by telling stories (fact or fiction) they can change lives and help people think differently or progressively. I have been a Physio for over ten years. I pride myself on being able to listen to people’s stories and know how to treat them before I even assess them. It’s not an incredible feat but it’s a skill. I also use stories and metaphors to help people understand their injuries and body healing responses. What I like. I like clean and simple designs. Earth tones rather than primary colours. I’m always drawn to green and blue colours. Labels I am drawn to: Sukin brand skin care Thank you brand Eminence skin care Moo hoo Yeah I’m really into skin care labels. But I’m also about the ingredients! Let me know if you need more info.

Requirements

Must have

• Simple lines and calming colours but also look nice in black and white. I want the logo to be recognised but not obnoxious.

Nice to have

• I would like an emblem next to the name but it’s a nice to have. I’m more interested to see what people come up with. I have chosen pictorial combo below but it doesn’t have to be. It can just be workmark. I’m basically after something nice. I’ll leave it with the designer.
• I added a photo below of my child and I on the beach. The concept is simple, natural, love and care. Hope this helps as well as my long project description

Should not have

• People in the design. I would like a logo that is easy to look at and not overcrowded.
