Hi Kate,
I found your website as the images you uploaded are of private emails. I hope you find this logo to be more in keeping with your cottage. The colours can be tweaked slightly and I mocked it up over an image as a type of watermark effect so you can see it in context.
The logo has been hand rendered and the typography is how I think you should present your cottage name.
