Logo Design Brief

I am launching a new water bottle, much like Swell and Chilly Bottles in terms of the overall design, except mine, has a fundamental difference, being the bottom also screws off for hygiene reasons - enabling you to clean them easily. Otherwise, it's the same shape.

And I need a cool, slick, elegant, logo - maybe with a little character.

Smart and elegant, but it could have connotations of the genie in the bottle, but I don't want this to be be too "kiddy like". Like the Chilly Logo - https://www.chillysbottles.com - the shape of that chilly is cool, with their name.

Target Market(s)

This is for everyone wanting to do their bit to save the planet - cut down on plastic water bottles and have a high quality, reusable bottle they can use for both hot and cold drinks. Though it'll really hit up the 20 - 40 age bracket.

Requirements

Must have

• Name and icon/logo - so much like what ChillyBottles.com have done in creating a little chilly to go with their name, and what Apple did with creating an Apple icon, I’d like something very subtle, simple, smart, fun, recognisable to go with the name Genie.

Nice to have

• Something similar to what chillybottles.com have done with their logo and design. An icon that resembles their name. But cool, and not childish in design.

Should not have

• The name genie obviously has connotations with the genie it a bottle. Which although I do like, I don't want anything too kiddy like, or cartoon-like for the logo / icon. This is for adults wanting an elegant, well designed, water bottle.
