Logo Design Brief
MangoFun Fitness is a proposed chain of gyms to launch in West Africa and has a slightly different concept than the current options - costlier, mainstream gyms. The plan is to offer collective fitness classes in smaller, spartan settings at a price point that makes fitness more affordable and accessible to the masses.
We want to build the identity of the company around the Mango- it is a fruit that many people like and recognise in Senegal and other West African countries. Mangoes are usually green, yellow and red in colour which are also the colours of the flag of Senegal and many other West African countries. These colours are vibrant and interesting, as opposed to the black and dark colours that dominate so many other fitness chain logos. I have attached pictures of the flags I'm referring to as references for colour choices. Please not that the flag pictures are only for colour reference, not design.
The logo needs to be very unique and recognisable. The design and identity has to be distinctly African but executed in a very modern manner. The demographic we are targeting is fitness enthusiasts between ages 18-36, primarily but not exclusively male: The logo therefore, needs to embody youth, modernity and fun.

- The design could have some or all the colours selected in the colour wheel below. The designer can inject their stylistic choices with this to produce the best design but bear in mind that the colour scheme of the logo is intended to mimic the green, red, yellow (and to a lesser extent, orange) that dominate many West African country flags: That is the colour palette to work with.
