Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a sole trader business based in Brisbane. The business is unique as I provide routine veterinary care as well as acupuncture and chiropractic care for dogs and cats. Treatment is tailored to the needs of the animal as well as owner needs. Some owners prefer a completely natural treatment whilst other owners like a combination of regular veterinary treatments with the option of complementary medicines. Owners therefore have more choices. I also offer rehabilitation for performance animals or post-surgical patients.
I would like fresh modern colors such as blue, lime green or red. Something that will stand out but also complements the natural holistic nature of the business. Professional without looking too formal. Flowing design rather than angular geometric patterns. Please include part or complete image of dog and cat.

Target Market(s)

Dog and cat owners who are looking for more than just basic standard veterinary care. Demographics more 30-50 year olds. Discerning clients looking for tailored care for their furry children.

Must have

• Dog and cat image - either part or whole.

Nice to have

• Flowing design with natural link - possibly tree or leaves.
• A link to chiropractic- spine or vertebrae as line of dots linked with outline of dog/cat head
• Possibly medical cross or house but not essential
• Red as a highlight rather than main
• Possibly dog image ‘jumping’ over VETMACS

Should not have

• Probably not a Yin and Yang - this can polarise clients who don’t like the idea of (or don’t fully understand) holistic medicine.
• Not cartoon-like figures
