Your brief is very light in terms of content and I'd like to help you with this. From experience, the suggestions that I have to include in the perfect brief are:
- An Overview / Background of the Business & Services
In 1845, Parker's Landing is the first American settlement in the current state of Washington. PIoneer David C. Parker crosses the county on the Oregon Trail for four months in a covered wagon pulled by oxen. The dock/landing he builds is on the north side of the mighty Columbia River. Steamships travel from The Dalles, Oregon and stop at his landing to get and deliver goods to Portland, Oregon.
- The Target Market / Audience you are trying to reach
This is a national historic park that needs to gain visibility to attract visitors and local traffic and volunteer and donation support. It is at the Camas-Washougal Port in Washington.
- Design Specifics; any preferences or ideas for Style, Color, Imagery, etc
Red, white and blue for American with silhouettes of a wide blue River, with a 1800s white Steamboat with red name and details. The steamship name is Calliope. Add an American flag detail on the steamship. Show the steam ship at the dock. A historic black marine light above the dock. Photo attached.
