Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a brand new restaurant. This is a restaurant that will be open for lunch only during the week and it is cater to a corporate building which helps 4000 employees whom need to go out to lunch on a daily basis. The restaurant will be open from 11:30-2:30 during the week. It is brand new and will serve high quality food. Family style but sophisticated with a great chef who will ensure we provide the highest quality and flavor food as well as high level of management to ensure highest quality of service. The menu will vary and it isn’t tied to any one specified ethnical type of food. The most important thing is for customers to be enticed to return over and over again without getting sick of all these important aspects. Fresh/high quality/high service/modern and with a family feel. My brother and I are partners and we are honoring my grandfather who is now gone and is an important figure in our life.

Target Market(s)

Corporate employees and upscale neighborhood. This is a buffet restaurant for corporate employees lunch time during the week but for an upscale neighborhood on weekend as well as special events like wedding and corporate parties. Not an a la carte restaurant.

Requirements

Must have

• The name of the restaurant is the name of my grandfather, Amadeus. WE WOULD LIKE TO FOCUS ON THE WORD AMADEUS. Empório is usually a word USED for restaurants or food centers in Brazil. We would like a modern look but inspired by our family roots. My grandfather was a small farmer and I included photos here as inspiration. We would like for the logo to have a sketch or his picture( face) in addition to the words EMPÓRIO AMADEUS and possibly use the old house outline ( not required). Please note the accent on the letter o in Empório.

Nice to have

• Empório Amadeus (words)
• Grandfather’s face
• Maybe house outline on something that reminds us of the farm house

Should not have

• Too much details, we would like a very clean and modern look, even if using vintage styles.
