Logo Design Brief
After suffering with a rare type of brain tumour (Cavernoma) three years ago, I’ve been inspired to start a charity to support others like myself. A Cavernoma is made up of abnormal blood vessels and can appear in brain or spine. It’s dangerous because when it bleeds it can cause seizures, strokes, or death. It affects people of all ages, including kids. Only 1 in 600 people have one so it’s still rare. They look like a raspberry or blackberry on an MRI scan. That’s why I’d love to use the raspberry (both colour and fruit) somewhere in the logo, as we want our branding to be based around it. It also makes us memorable and adore to explain to people what a Cavernoma is. We have a big promotional deal coming up across Europe, so this logo will be used across Europe. It needs to be striking, memorable, and make us stand out from the other brain charities. We also support those with spinal Cavernoma, so it’ll be useful for the logo to show that. Finally, Cavernoma can be genetic too, so people can have more than one. It would be great to try and show this genetic link if possible.
