Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our water polo/swim program at Yorba Linda High School. Our mascot is the Mustangs so I thought it would be perfect to have a sea-horse Mustang. Nothing cartoony or goofy looking please. I would like a powerful looking horse with front hooves (not fins or flippers). I've attached the inspiration photo but I really want it to look more like a Mustang than a sea creature and definitely no sea monster tail. I would probably prefer that the tail be hidden or partially hidden by the splashing water like the photo. I need 2 designs. I need one for Swim and one for water polo so I would like to be able to put the water polo ball in and out of the graphic. I am also attaching our schools volleyball logo which I love the look of. I have also attached a baseball logo from our school for reference. I would also like to be able to change the text for Water Polo, Swim, and Aquatics depending on the season.

Requirements

Must have

• A powerful looking horse. No cartoon looking stuff. A water polo ball in one version. Our school colors are Crimson, Navy, and Silver. You can use white for the Silver if needed.

Should not have

• No flippers or fins or any sea monster tail. I want it to look like a muscular horse.
