Logo Design Brief

We are starting a new brand from scratch and need an AWESOME logo for our launch and marketing. The River Finch logo needs to burn the name into your brain when you see it. I want people to see our brand one time and always remember our name because of the logo. I would like to convey a Strong Quality Brand, but it also needs a soft welcoming feel to it. We sell Custom Products and Gifts - Custom Stainless tumblers - custom mirrors, cutting boards, T-shirts, and many other items.

A River and a Finch must be shown or represented in some way, but I AM OPEN TO ANYTHING! GO NUTS!

Update: I am really liking the bird as a minimalist set of shapes/lines rather than a single bird shape.
