Logo Design Brief

Hi there, We run a family run, boutique Hotel up at a ski resort called Mt Buller in Victoria, Australia. We have a ski shop and a hotel that need to be aligned with an updated logo, however have slight differences for marketing purposes (sport/skis vs accommodation). The hotel is of Austrian heritage, wood engravings and a warm and cosy Austrian Alpine feel. In our new logo set, we would like something that is traditional with a modern update. I have attached the hotels current logo, and a version of a ski shop logo that we had done a while ago but did not the traditional feel we were after exactly. Not both logos have to be the same, maybe the same font and some other similarities. The ski shop may have more to do with a mountains, skis....and the hotel may have a more European ski resort accommodation feel.Colour.....historically we have aligned ourselves with orange or blue, other colors may be considered too! In the Ski Centre there would like a bit of the green touch as well, as in the attached logo. We would also like the logo easy to be placed on letter head, business card, pamphlets, brochures and email signatures. Something relativeley simple to catch the eye that is can be easily remembered and spotted is also an objective.
