Logo Design Brief

UPDATE 05.21.2019 - PLEASE REFERENCE IMAGES "Fav1.jpg", "Fav2.jpg", and "fav3.jpg" (ranked by top 3 designs as of now)

"Fav1.jpg is my favorite draft, other two are close... I like the sleekness and simplicity of the 2 and 3, so I am in between that sleek look vs the Fav1.jpg, or something like that

Where I got the idea for the name from:

I got the idea from the book “The Net and The Butterfly - The Art and Practice of Breakthrough Thinking”... To make a very long story short, in the book, besides the scientific explanations, they describe the place in our brains where creativity emerges from as the genius lounge ~ Our subconscious minds chew on ideas when we're unaware of it and then eventually we have a "shower moment" or breakthrough while we're doing the laundry... Thanks to that area in the brain comically referred to as the genius lounge a couple times throughout the book… Without getting too deep into it, the ideas in this book changed my life and by far my favorite book to date. I highly recommend reading it!

Background on my business:

It is a Social Media Advertising and Consulting Business.
I run Ad campaigns for clients and consult with them and help them develop an effective Marketing and Branding strategy in todays digital world.



What I would like the logo to look like:

I'm no artist myself, and this is what brings me here lol. But I did draw a very rough form of an example illustrating the idea... Please reference that and the images mentioned below

If you picture a clear lightbulb, like a super close up and high quality photo you can see the two parts connecting in the middle to beautifully create the light.. So I fell in love with the idea of having the middle clearly and creatively in kind of a glowing orange spelling out “The Genius Lounge” (please see Image1 and Image 2 & and My Sketch)

Must look realistic! Like the photos provided

• 1 logo for white or transparent background and 1 logo for dark background

• I have looked through and discovered lots of you were getting the right idea. Thanks for working so hard, we're almost there :)
• Here is my updated request based upon what I have seen:
• Must Have Colors:
• Black, Grey, and Yellow or Orange (for black logo w/ transparent background)
• And for black background (just in case) the colors basically inverted for that one. White outline, yellow or orange + black filament of lightbulb spelling out "The Genius lounge"
• Must Have Design:
• Lightbulb as illustrated - Play with simple design and sizes to your liking, but the following is mandatory for this design:
• (Please use latest drawing that I made as a reference, and modify to your liking using the same/similar colors and placements ~ SEE IMAGE BELOW "Favorite Concept.jpg")
• - Lightbulb outlined, with transparent inside, and the black and yellow or orange filament spelling out "The Genius Lounge"
• - Please create one for a white background and one for a black background
