Logo Design Brief

We are a manufacturer of precast concrete products. We manufacture products for the farming industry as well as architectural building panels, bridges etc. We a rebranding the business as New England Precast P/L and are looking for a new logo design that can go onto our letter heads, vehicles, buildings etc that is both simple but recognisable over time as our business brand. I would like to be able to have the logo as abstract and be flexible in its design so we can incorporate the letters NEP partially or wholly into it for product branding etc, plus have logo stand alone, plus have logo with full business name near or connected to it. In my mind I see the colours grey and blue. I am not looking for a logo that would say precast concrete, but rather a logo that becomes iconcally recognisable as our business over time.

Requirements

Must have

• I am looking for an abstract logo that when presented on its own will automatically be recognisable as New England Precast.
• Then want to be able to over lay (partially) the letters NEP with the logo
• Then be able to have it inside the logo, or NEP under the logo, or just NEP on its own.
• Classic examples for me are BP or Nike or Logitech. All these logos are recognisable on their own but can stand as well with the initials of the business. From an engineering point of view Downer engineering is a good logo (mining vehicle tyre tracks). It can be used alone, or with the business name.
