Logo Design Brief

A logo for a new micro brewery in the heart of Warwickshire, brewing real ales. Based in Henley in Arden, a small market town, with a High Street stretching for half a mile, where traditionally, there were 28 pubs, inns or taverns, and as such, by going in to the pubs on one side for a drink, crossing the road, and continuing down the pubs on the other side, you had a pub crawl knows as The Henley Mile. The High street is full of Elizabethan and Jacobean houses, two Norman Churches, and a 15th Century Guildhall.

We have no set colour scheme.

The logo design will need to feature on both marketing literature, promotional T-Shirts for bar staff but also beer pump clips. Therefore the winning design will have considered how the logo will be used on a pull clip, and what designs for each beer we produce. We need to consider the shape, colour and design of the pull clips as they are the most visible marketing tool.

I have added pictures of Henley, other brewery logos and also some beer pump clip designs.

Henley in Arden is only 6 miles from Stratford upon Avon, home town of Shakespeare, which is the second most visited tourist destination in England behind London. It may be an idea to use some reference to that, although there are several breweries around Stratford who already do that.
