Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a financial advisory firm. I picked Paragon because the term Paragon is defined as "a person or thing viewed as a model of excellence". I want our customers to feel like that is exactly what they should expect from us. Paragon is also a perfect diamond of a 100 carats or more so I had thought about incorporating a diamond into the logo. I like Black/Silver/Cranberry/Navy colors but I am open to ideas.

Requirements

Must have

• I would like it to be bold because I will have it on a lit sign. We have found the black and gold or black/gold/blue seems to be complimentary. We like the various diamond ideas but want Investment and Consultants to stand out so people don't glance at the sign and think we are a jeweler.

Nice to have

• I like Castelar and Copperplate Gothic fonts but it's not a must. I thought about incorporating the diamond but it's not a must if something else looks better. My office is done in grays and cranberry so it would be nice if it complimented that.
