Logo Design Brief

I would like a simple but effective logo designed for my swimwear company I’m starting online. I want it to represent the brand in a professional and relevant way. Something simple that makes people recognize it. I think the ‘font’ is key. Something that could potentially be printed on the clothing and represent the name. Something that can represent swimwear with possibility to go also on gym wear. I want it to look classy and expensive. The background of the material is also targeting the market of people who care for the environment. The fabric is made from recycled rubbish and fishing nets from the ocean and turned back into econol and nylon. The frosted bags the logo will be printed on are 100 % biodegradable. They’re good quality and one off designs. So I’d like the logo to somehow represent all of this is a simple effective way. The target market is women of all shapes and sizes 18-35 year old market group. Launching mainly in Dubai so targeting a higher end beach club scene and also going global/ potential in store after that. I’m still unsure if it should say a) just a simple font - Salt Sister (my ideal name but was already taken on godaddy so I had to ad swim to the email.) b) simple font- Salt Sister Swim (registered on Godaddy.com email is saltsisterswim.com C) font Salt Sister, plus a simple symbol or logo underneath it. The symbol representing salt sister could then be printed on some bikinis on the material or a small pendant in areas or the logo font printed on the bands in some designs. I’m open to ideas... the marketing and branding is key for success any help is greatly appreciated. please contact me if you need more info. Below is pictures of an example of another successful company who uses my same manufacturer and the same bags I will be choosing (the biodegradable frosted reusable bags.) there’s also an example of one of the clasps that the logo can also be printed/engraved on. So it needs to be small/simple enough to work. Fae swim the example I included just has the word FAE written on their clips and pendants.

Requirements

Must have

• The perfect font is key. Creative way of writing Salt Sister and then a logo idea to reflect the name. Or just Salt sister in nice font, then Swim in smaller font underneath. Open to ideas but please give me a couple options of both writing and logo/writing

Nice to have

• I put a full description above in the description field.
• I’m open to what you have to present. I did have grey scale in mind or just plain black printing but as I said I’m open to suggestions.
• The bags are frosted and clear. The logo will be getting engraved anyway in some tags etc.
• **Can someone also send a logo including the symbol i will post below in picture with a nice font above or below it. For me to compare?
• Veering more towards black however if there was colour or potentially a darker background with lighter/white writing then I would be most inclined to like grey scale, possibly light pink, copper, or a light/blue like the gooseberry logo.

Should not have

• Nothing tacky or too blocky.. I received a couple designs from someone that was recommended but it just wasn’t right. The font was harsh and blocky and a picture of a wave and I couldnt imagine it being written on the bag let alone a beautiful bikini. It needs to reflect taste and style.
