Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new startup company. The logo is to be used on all company correspondence, letterhead, business cards, invoices and on the company website.The company specialises in fluid power (hydraulics and pneumatics) services. This includes design of fluid power systems, installation and maintenance, fault finding, problem solving, modifications, breakdowns, audits and reccomendations, fluid cleanliness, preventative maintenance and associated mechanical engineering services.We would like the colour scheme to be different from other large established hydraulic companies so would like to avoid the colours blue, yellow, green and red. The logo needs to convey confidence in our specialist knowledge of hydraulics and engineering.
