Logo Design Brief

we need a logo for a molecular diagnostics company in San Diego called "genovo". The company focuses on the targeted cancer diagnostics and precision medicine by liquid biopsy technologies. We'd like to see the design reflecting gene structure and concept of targeted detection. Blue color is preferred, with decoration of grey and red. One idea is to have a "C" (cancer) with double helix structure (grey color), with a red dot representing mutation on the one strand of "C", with a blue color fine needle pointing to the red dot indicating targeted detection of mutation on genome and treatment, and it makes the letter "G". The company name "genovo" could be all low case with a font of rounded, sans serif, elegant and balanced looking. Please see some examples attached. thx
