Logo Design Brief

We need a logo that above all conveys increased speed - because we are ultimately replacing copper cable with fibre optic cable - and supporting a strong local and community element. We are working to a much smaller scale, serving small urban areas that have been left behind by the big telecom/broadband companies. The name of the company is UpFibre and the strapline "Speeding your local connectivity". By bringing gigabit capable connectivity/broadband services to a previously poorly served area, we can transform the fortunes and prospects for the community - homes and businesses together. I want the logo to convey can do, will succeed attitudes and friendliness. I'm interested in a an orange-turquoise colour combination. But feel free to experiment.
