Logo Design Brief
We want to create a unique race team logo. The team races NASCAR Late Model Stock Cars on asphalt tracks. The logo will be used for decals, screen printing shirts, embroiderying hats and garments. No specific color has been determined, maybe red or apple green. We want to display a professional team appearance. An older logo non-professionally created is shown for information. The new logo doesn't have to play off the old one. The logo should be designed around racing and sniper associated themes. A lot of designs for hunting products use a deer skull and antlers, some us the "punisher" skull. Since this logo will have a sniper theme a human or animal skull is one aspect of a design we've considered. Along with that would be a crosshair to also go with the sniper theme. Of course a "racey" aspect could be appropriate given it's a race team logo. Sometimes a racing logo will have a black and white checkered pattern in it somehow. We'd like to keep this a two color design to keep printing and embroidery cost minimized. This design will also be used on "hero cards" which show a photograph of the driver and race car with the logo incorporated. These cards are handed out at the races to the fans. The car number is often used in a racing logo. A picture of the race car is attached to see the car number. The font was used by the vinyl graphics person and will continue to be used when new vinyl graphics are needed. Stickers/decals purchased, we'd like to have the oppupertunity to choose round, oval, or rectangular shape.
Updates
I learned yesterday that there are some limitations on colors for the design.
I must remain 2 colors with no fading. Red and black are the color choices.
Great designs have beed created but some of them use color fading or blacks turning to grays. I will not be able to choose a winning design that has fades.
I hope designers will remain proactive in the project. I'm so appreciative of the designers who have worked with me on revisions. Thank you to those who have.
I will narrow my favorites to 5 designs and pick a winner from there at the end of the project's time limit.
Please keep your submissions coming in, I've thoroughly enjoyed this process and learned there are some very talented folks out there.
