Logo Design Brief

I make hand craft graphite and fiberglass fly rods from my home in Bozeman, Montana. The core of what I do is make rods that are more affordable than their factory counterparts while building with better components; I describe their look as "simple elegance." I would like a simple, vintage logo design that has a "northwoods-ish" feel- think red plaid flannel, wicker creels, and English Setters. The example provided gets close to this but I need something cleaner with higher resolution than I can do in Keynote and that can be used in a variety of ways.
