Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new business in Portland, OR called Conscious Plate Performance. This is a whole food, plant-based lifestyle brand for optimum athletic performance while being conscious of the environment and compassionate towards animal. We want to empower athletes to take control of their performance through a plant base approach. We will do this by providing recipes, nutrition facts, meal planning and preparation tips, and ways to be more environmentally friendly. Our tagline is "eat better. become better." I would the design to be somewhat circular to represent the earth. I would like there to be some sort of representation of plants whether it's with a leaf, roots, etc. Then I would like there to be a neutral gender person in an athletic stand, preferably running form. I've upload a basic design that I came up with to give you an idea. I would like the person to have more of a sleek or edgy/cool design. I would like it to have at least two colors. When someone looks at it, my hope is that they see the earth, plants, and athletes working together as one. I am however, open to something different than what I described above so please don't feel the designs have to embody all of that. I'm sure there's something else that would look great and still depict the message I am trying to deliver.
