Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a new logo for an apartment community that we recently acquired. the building is a very old school building that has been converted to apartments and now we plan to remodel the building even further to give it a bit more modern finish. We plan to bring a very 'artsy' vibe to the building keeping the some of the very vintage features but adding in some modern design, colors and finishes. The new building name is Renaissance North Apartments and it is located in a northern suburb of Cincinnati. We are looking for logos that will in essence combine the historical nature of the building with a new, modern appeal. We have not chosen an exact color scheme as of yet but in one of the pictures you can see a stairwell that has been painted a very cool turquoise/blue and we really like that color and plan to keep it. I have also attached several other pictures that give you the look of the building as well as the hallways in which the school flooring will stay and more color will be added.
