Logo Design Brief

i'm looking for a new logo for our brand. This will be used throughout our website, print material, uniforms, etc. Something simple that will translate well on the bottom corner of a business card as well as the side of a van. We are part of another company called Bicycle Adventures. They have a logo with a good amount of recognition we called a swoosh. I assume it should be part of the logo but have an open mind.
