Logo Design Brief

I am starting my second career as an executive coach, training designer, facilitator and complex problem solver, after 30+ years in HR. I am located in Northern California and my office is in a 135 year old redwood barn on our farm. I believe each individual has unique strengths, and a coach's job is to help a person understand and leverage them - NOT to try to become "more like that guy". I just became a cyclist, and I chose the name "Next Gear Consulting" after learning that I have all the gears I need, but sometimes a coach needs to help me learn to choose the RIGHT gear for each segment of a challenging ride. The same thing is true for teams - talented groups of people who can get tangled up and need help getting their work back on track. The logo should convey intelligence, uniqueness, and hard work.
