Logo Design Brief
We are a small subdivision of single family homes and townhouses on the Emerald Coast of Florida in Santa Rosa Beach that is now in the process of updating our entry sign and logo. The brick wall that holds the current sign will remain as the backdrop for the sign. The homes range from 1500-2700sf and are not of a particular architectural vernacular – they range from all brick, to brick and siding with stucco, with simple asphalt shingle roofs. Most houses have front yards with porches. The street names - Calle Escada, Corte Bambu, Corte Pina, Corte Roble and Corte Palma – speak to the many trees in the neighborhood that blend with our small lakes (with fountains) and patches of nature preserve areas. We have a small clubhouse with a pool , a tennis court and a nature trail that leads (off property) to Highway 30A and the back entrance to local elementary school.
I have attached some pictures of the entrance where the main sign will be installed. Below is a link to the google map.

Our logo needs to express the mixture of young families and retirees that tend to congregate in our front yards, walk the neighborhood loop with pets in tow, and allow kids to play safely in our streets.
Updates
Wonderful submissions - but need a lot more time to decide simply because we have a 7 person committee making the decision on which three will go to the subdivision for final vote. This is not a 13 day process by any means.
