T-shirt Design Brief

My father is turning 80 this year and is in a music group with three other men over the age of 70. They named their group The Buzzards which was meant to be a funny take on the band The Eagles (e.g. they are old Eagles). For his birthday, I would like to get T-shirts made for his music group. I would like the design to be a bit of a humorous take on a classic Rock Band t-shirt. Perhaps using The Eagles band logo and doing a spin-off on that for The Buzzards.

Requirements

Must have

• Look like a music group/rock band type logo. Incorporate the name. I'm open to having it be either The Buzzards or just Buzzards.

Nice to have

• Explore doing a design that uses The Eagles logo in a way that music fans will get the connection. Explore having some of the letters in the name be a silhouette of a Buzzard. I want to design to still have a cool factor and look like a band logo but capture a bit of the humor in the fact that they are called The Buzzards. Also, this design will be printed on black or dark gray shirts and it needs to work in one or two colors.

• Should not be comedic or hokey.
