SANSAR - South Asian Network Supporting Awareness and Research

SANSAR is a newly registered charity in Canada with the following mission:

“Committed to promoting cardiovascular health for South Asians through community awareness, research and education”

The South Asian community is at the highest risk for developing heart disease and diabetes. They develop these diseases at a younger age and more aggressively than other ethnicities. This charity's goal is to educate and increase public awareness and understanding of cardiovascular (heart) disease and diabetes. We will do this by offering patient support and teaching to the South Asian community and by doing research.

The word SANSAR in Hindi means "the world". Often when used in speech, people would say something like "my family is my SANSAR" or whatever else is of up-most importance to them and makes up their world. The design should communicate a sense of caring.

Target Market(s)

South Asian community who are 30 to 80 years old and may not know that they are at high risk for developing heart disease and diabetes.
