Logo Design Brief

I am starting a web development company called CodeCape. We will focus primarily on building web based MVP apps, and helping businesses launch. We're seasoned developers who have successful businesses of our own, so we'll bring our business experience to the table. We'll help keep the code we write simple, clean, focused and "launchable", instead of adding too many features and killing clients budgets. Not sure what the tagline will be yet, but the idea of the cape is that we'll help businesses "learn to fly" with our code. As to the look of the logo:I have an idea of a simple cape surrounding a symbol of code in some fashion. I don't want to restrict you to this design idea, but it was just a thought (see attached photo). I'd like to have a few variations not like this at all so I can have some options. Because the name "CodeCape" is a bit cute, we don't want the logo to be too cute. We want it to create a sense of professionalism, quality and stability. Generally, we prefer simple, flat colors. This will be a clean web 2.0 type site.
