Logo Design Brief

It's a product brand. We call it REST Mod or REST Module. REST stands for Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy. We thought the logo could be a combination of words REST (big), module (smaller) and a symbol illustrating symbolically the module. Something simple, minimalistic, reflecting both the nature of floatation therapy and the modular nature of our float tank. We quite like the idea of origani style logo. Here is what the Module will look like. It's basically a float tank with bathroom inside of a 20ft shipping container.REST MODULE Float tank (sensory deprivation tank) was designed to transport the user to a new world of absolute calm and tranquillity, where you will rediscover your health, vigor and enthusiasm.It's is a powerful tool to achieve harmony of body and mind – natural, based on the scientific approach to deep relaxation.Floatation tank is a powerful natural, based on the scientific approach to deep relaxation tool to achieve harmony of body and mind.Precision engineered, it is the most technically advanced and luxurious floatation system available. REST MOD makes operating a float centre more accessible and affordable for new entrants and believe that creating a modular, mobile float tank system will mitigate the risk in the major challenges typically encountered with opening a float centre. These include; large capital investment, high over heads and high risk for recovering initial investment due to the sunk cost involved with building float rooms at a leased premise. By addressing these problems we allow centre owners to decrease their initial sunk cost and lower overheads, allowing owners to decrease their average float session cost while not sacrificing on profit margin.What is Floating?Floatation involves lying in a super-saturated Epsom-salt solution about 30cm deep. The salt water solution is heated to skin temperature 35.5C. Once you are settled, it is almost impossible to tell which parts of your body are in the water and which aren’t. The high density of our saline solution will make you feel completely weightless, letting every single muscle in your body fully relax. The float pods are specifically designed to block out all external distractions, such as sights, sounds, tactile sensations and gravity. We want the logo to represent the container and our sensory deprivation tank inside with a person inside of that. This separated the person from reality, blocking their external sensations and enhancing internal, connecting us to our inner selves. This experience of connection they bring back to the world.
