Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our travel club in Shanghai called Platinum Private Travel. The logo will be used on collateral and the new website. We'd like an iconic looking identity, probably somehow using the two 'P's in a creative way. For our Chinese crowd it should look quite classical and grand, almost like the seal or logo for a an old bank, an old-world European brand or something similar. The symbol or logo should communicate wealth, luxury, reliability and an element of travel or adventure. Some subtle references to Chinese culture can be good, as long as they are not too banal (no lanterns or anything like that)
