Logo Design Brief

INTRODUCTION: We'll launch a web site and SaaS solution on www.amzpiranha.com for Amazon Professional Sellers. We need a professional logo design that we can use the same image in our web site and also as our icon of Windows application. It must be a clever design which must reflect the two things: an amazon monster, lightning fast. Logo must have a Piranha drawing/symbol, and "AMZ Piranha" words. We'll use the full logo and slogan in our web site and just the drawing itself as our icon for our windows application. Similar approach is used by Wireshark.org which is a great application. I attached a few images for those samples. ABOUT OUR APPLICATION: Our solution is really fast (will be the fastest in the market) and also has great "killer" features. For this reason, our slogan will be something like this: AMZ Piranha (or AMZPiranha.com)Lightning fast amazon monster!orAMZ Piranha (orAMZPiranha.com)Lightning fast amazon monster for Amazon Professional Sellers. If you can do give some emphasis to "amazon" word and use a similar font which remembers amazon.com's font and color it would be great. We were planning to use "Amazon Xplorer" as our brand name and our amateur design was something like that as you can see in the attached picture. Later on, we've decided to use AMZ Piranha for several reasons. SOME HINTS ABOUT THE DESIRED DESIGN: A real piranha is a scary creature but we need to make it attractive with a nice and niche design. Since it lives only Amazon river and our solution is a solution for Amazon.com, we definitely want to use it in our name and logo. In addition it's a really fast creature, like our solution, so there must be some clues about its speed. The logo example in www.Piranha.com is not that bad, but it’s so simple and it's not attractive to me. Our piranha must be something attractive, and also a little bit rogue (may be a flirtatious smile, an eye gesture, or just a very cool design). None of the Google Searches are close to my Piranha candidate. On the other hand, some modern approaches can be used for that "cool design". For example, this design (https://amurdter.artstation.com/projects/azdVz) is one of the bests in my Google Search. Another design (https://logopond.com/Rokac/showcase/detail/138294) is not good enough but it has some clues for the speed of the piranha. AMZ and Piranha words can be separated in the logo design. There are similar named web sites that you can look at (such as AMZ Tracker, AMZ Finder, AMZ Scout etc). Our target audience is almost same. Piranha image can be on the left, right, top, bottom or even between AMZ and Piranha words. It's totally up to your creativity and aesthetic approach. You can also prepare a few different versions of it. For example, my company logo has both horizontal and vertical versions as you can see here (http://www.outlier.tech/about-outlier-tech/) and it's a great flexibility for us when we need.Last thing, I'm not sure to use the font in our company logo or a similar one. It has both advantages and disadvantages. For this reason, I don't want to restrict your creativity.

Requirements

Must have

• - Piranha drawing for the logo similar to one of Wireshark.org.
• - Only amazon word in "Lightning fast amazon monster" slogan must have a similar font and color with amazon.com
• - It must remind us "speed" and "amazon.com"
• - I don't like orange that much, please use it in amazon word only to emphasize it.
• - Main web page will have mainly blue color tones. I attached an "amazon Xplorer" design, background and design will be something like that.

Should not have

• - Don't use amazon font in the whole logo. It should be used only for amazon word in the slogan and that's it. Please refer to our amateur placeholder amazon Xplorer logo in the attached file. amazon word is similar to amazon.com's logo but other part is modern looking.
