Logo Design Brief
We are looking for a logo for a open source software project called Cruise Control. Cruise Control is a software/service that is used to automatically manage and configure clusters/services. It’s original target was managing Kafka (see https://kafka.apache.org/ ), but it’s expanding to manage other systems/services. Some ideas on Cruise Control logo:
1. It brings balance to the cluster, takes a bunch of random status, and aligns them.
2. It deals with calming the wild streams,
3. It takes the control over managing the cluster.
4. It detects and heals anomalies.
Other:
- It can act as a mechanic to a system/service/cluster
- It can help with "rebalancing"
- It is a first-responder in times of need
- It provides self-healing capabilities
- It monitors the system's health
- It's a tool for humans to control complicated systems
- It helps developers / devOps / sysadmins.
- It can take actions based on triggers / events
- It can perform diagnostics
- It can make smart decisions
- It understands historical data
- It has the whole picture
- It will create a plan to deal with failures
- It will choose the best plan to reach an outcome

Requirements
Must have
- Must be recognized without "CruiseControl" spelled next to it.
Nice to have
- A way to be drawn on a whiteboard/paper and recognized. It doesn't mean the logo needs to be simple, but that there is a way to draw it "quickly" or something that looks like it.
- Note that this is more of a software logo/icon than a company logo. It may be the logo on the top of a webpage, but it's unlikely to go on a building.
Should not have
- Just a font over CC or Cruise Control . (Wordmark or Lettermark)
