Graphic Design Brief

We are a skateboard company based in Colorado and we need a new design for our Logo! We are looking for a logo that will fit nicely on skateboard decks, both small on the top of the deck and larger on the bottom of the deck that looks cool and is appealing to skaters. The logo needs to be Colorado influenced, include the name "Colorado Skateboards," (which can be either written separate from the logo or part of the logo, and in a nice font), and have a modern, refined look.

Research other skateboard brands and take a look at their logos. For the most part they are all very simple and visually appealing. Think something a bored kid can draw in class. We will be printing this logo on skate decks, merchandise (T-shirts, hoodies, etc.), on a website and skateboard wheels. We also need skateboard deck graphics to go along with our logo, both on the top and on the bottom. We will be paying $100 extra on this project, can be negotiated depending on quality of graphic, for skateboard deck graphic design, also Colorado oriented. These can be humorous, play on Colorado culture, or just be a cool design. I have attached some photos of older skate decks we have made in the past just to give you an idea.
