Book Cover Design Brief
I need a design for a book cover for both hard copy and e-book formats. The title of my book will be "Community Heroes: what a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA member taught me about community development." The author's name (i.e. my name) is Edward Patrick Akinyemi. I would like both to be incorporated into the book cover design.Note: "Community Heroes" is the main title and "what a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA member taught me about community development" is the subtitle of the book.What's my book about? - The title of my book will be "Community Heroes: what a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA member taught me about community development." The author's name (i.e. my name) is Edward Patrick Akinyemi. Both must be incorporated into the book cover design. I would also like the book design to be front- and back cover. I attached the text for the backcover text as well.
Nice to have
- Heck, I just want it to look professional. Keep in mind that I'm a 25yr old first-time, self-publishing author so I need to hit the ground running. I would like the design to be very eye-catching. When people look at my book (design), I want them to think, "wow, this guy is a first-time author? This guy looks legit"
Should not have
- Should not be too literally about heroes (despite the title of the book).
