Logo Design Brief

We would like a logo developed for our new collective called Te Ōhanga. This is a Maori word (New Zealand indigenous language) which translates to The Nest. We have done a draft logo to give you a sense of what we like. We like organic, circular designs that have an open feeling. The mission of Te Ōhanga is to support science, industry, Māori and Government coming together to create impact (environmentally, socially, culturally and economically) by promoting circular bioeconomy principals for a more sustainable planet. We're creating a physical place where people come together to work on solutions that will embrace a sustainable way of living that utilises natural resources for a healthier future.We have attached some inspiration alongside the draft logo for other directions this design could take. You do not need to follow the draft example, this is just one option but we are open to your creative ideas. We are interested to see how colour could be brought it. We like neutral colour palettes that are not too bold. We would like to see how the text could be better incorporated with the logo and set a design direction which we can then take into website, business cards etc.

Target Market(s)

Our target market is broad, this needs to appeal to large commercial organisations, government and culturally to our local tribal groups.
