Poster Design Brief

My original musical is called No Pasaran. No Pasaran means they shall not pass , which was a slogan used during the Spanish Civil War. My musical is overal about the volunteers of the International Brigades and follows the story of a small group of brigadistas and Spanish people on both sides of that war. The story focuses on three Republicans, the love between an Irish man and an English woman and the secret love that a Spanish woman has for that man. It also describes the life long friendship between that man and his best (male) friend who is on the Nationalist side but who in the end looses his life saving his best friend. These four main characters are joined by the Spanish woman's 9 year old brother and by colourful Republican Brigadistas from the USA, France, Germany, the UK and Russia. Finally the violence of the Nationalist fascists is primarilly depicted by a Nationalist General who is the main villan, and soldiers from Hitler's Germany and Mussolini's Italy.

The English heroin is slim with natural white blond hair and a pale complection. The Spanish heroin is shapely and has black hair and a brown sunburned complection. The main male hero is tall, rugged, white and has dark curly hair and his old friend is medium height, muscular and a redhead. Some of the Brigadistas from the USA are black.

I need a poster that captures this story that I can use as the focus for developing, promoting and advertising this work. Thanks
