Logo Design Brief
APAA is a brand new performing arts/musical theatre training organization targeting young people, based in Auckland, New Zealand. We'll put on 2 musicals each year and want to inspire young people with a dynamic, modern logo. The attached PNG image was somewhat appealing EXCEPT (a) it emphasizes dance over singing/acting too much, and (b) it's too overtly female (& therefore might exclude boys). The pdf image isn't right, but it does show a couple of *possible* elements (the theatre mask; the microphone; the music notes) which might be of use. We'll be using APAA as our trading name. Ideally we would be provided with 1 each the following: (1) the logo with no text at all, (2) the logo with "APAA" only, (3) the logo with APAA and our slogan ("Let your talent take flight"), (4) everything in (3) + our full legal name (in small lettering at the bottom, i.e: "Auckland Performing Arts Academy (2018) Ltd.), (5) everything in (4) EXCEPT the slogan. That would give us the flexibility to use it in different contexts (eg - on letterhead, on business cards, on caps/tee shirts, etc.)

Requirements
Must have
- some connection to the performing arts in its imagery (song, dance, acting i.e: performing on stage in musical theatre); be appealing to both genders (i.e: I wouldn't want either boys or girls to feel "excluded" because of the imagery)
Nice to have
- Because our slogan is "let your talent take flight" imagery that includes dynamic movement/flight, etc might be nice. (We almost went with "let your talent soar" - you get the idea...)
Should not have
- A look that feels overtly "feminine" such that it would exclude boys (or vice versa).
