Project Swapfig is a site for people to trade LEGO minifigures, much like people used to swap other items (baseball cards, stickers etc.) in the past. You can take a look at the site: http://swapfig.com
We've managed to raise money for a site redesign, intended to draw a wider audience (including younger people interested in LEGO) and encourage greater use. As part of the redesign we want to introduce a brand new logo, from which the overall look and feel of the new site design will emerge.
We're going to leave the logo design and any colour choices open to the designer, although we would like something simple yet effective. The logo will be used on promotional material and in emails as well as on the site.
Included in this project is the current logo (designed by me!), and some ideas about how I want the logo to look, but feel free to start completely from scratch.

Requirements
Must have
- The logo must use a sans-serif font, ideally bespoke but at the very least not a stock font (Arial, Comic Sans etc.). We must be able to use a black-only or greyscale version of the logo as well.
Should not have
- As the site isn't affiliated with or endorsed by LEGO, the design must not include a whole LEGO minifigure or any of LEGO's other trademarks.
We would also like to avoid LEGO's colour combinations, and having any kind of arrows, or obvious representations of "swapping", in the logo.
