Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for our company ATD Consultants. We are an environmental, engineering and construction inspection firm, working with about 100 banks, based out of northern New Jersey and Philadelphia. The main types of inspections we perform are environmental, construction loan and property condition inspections. Environmental inspections are to evaluate if there are any environmental concerns on a property (oil tanks above or below ground, any leaks, chemical usage, mold, asbestos, etc.). Construction loan inspections are done throughout the duration of a construction project to make sure when a contractor requests money from the bank the work is in place. Property condition is (more obviously) evaluating the condition of a property so the bank knows if there are repairs that may be needed. Finally we also perform plan and cost reviews, so we evaluate architectural plans and budgets to ascertain what a project will cost to build to help guide the bank when dealing with contractors. Basically, all these inspections are to protect the bank from financing or releasing loan money in the case that work is not complete, expensive property repairs or environmental remediation needs to take place. We don't do a lot of marketing to consumers, so this is really a need for a refresh, not a full suite of marketing material. Our current logo (if you even want to call it that) is terrible. Would like to see logos for both "ATD Consultants" and "ATD". Our website is www.atdnj.com. Banks primarily. This logo really won't be used for advertising, more so a clean, professional representation to our current clients and new clients (developed through multiple in-person meetings, no web click ads)
