Graphic Design Brief

Hi there,

We're looking to humanize our website - https://mercanto.app - with a cute robots. Here's a very different company who has done something nice - https://www1.relish.net/, and (of course) Google's cute little green robot - https://source.android.com/setup/start/brands. Headspace also does great work.

We're an AI company which can be a bit dry, and we believe that giving an identity in the form of a character will really help to encourage the human, more conversation part of messaging. If we have a character then that character can be shown on the website, presentations, and other media.

The styling is important in that it needs to be versatile and simplistic so make sure its simple vectors drawings with solid fills. This will make it easier for multiple illustrators to copy the style, something that is difficult if too stylised. Aside from that you can go a little wild with the creative so long as you keep the style consistent across everything.

Target Market(s)

our target market is marketing folk at retailers and e-commerce companies. These people are between 20- 35, have a degree in marketing and an eye for good design.
