Super exciting opportunity to make your mark! We need your logo design for a new record label that specializing in hip hop music remixing, but also works with artists in other genres. Based in New York City, we are looking to make a unique, iconic, fresh, easy to read, clean, on-topic, but have a throwback feel logo. The owners like the idea of stand alone logos that feel encapsulated, or crest-like but not forced. Would love a custom font or graphic. Our record label uses software that remixes the music to be "chopped & screwed" or slowed down, if you don't speak music lingo. The owners are also a management team that grow their already successful talent base to the next level. Color pallet should stick to red, white, black and maybe gold. But does not need to use all of the colors. We want it to feel like something that could hang in the Moma, we know it's ambiotious :). The name is REDiiOG. Pronounced: Ready OG You are free to use artistic license for spacing and font to accentuate title. Will not consider logos that use colors outside of suggestions. - The company's name REDiiOG. Should only use the colors red, black, white or gold if absolutely felt right. Two companies are coming together to create this new label. RED & OG. The concept can allow for the two to have two identities or feel the same. REDii should read as READY. please make sure that appears clear.
Nice to have
- Records underneath the name if it looks right. And a graphic. Something that makes sense. The two owners of the company have merged their companies. RED and OG. The concept is that you are Ready to be an OG. The two ii's represent the two owners. It would be nice to make it clear that this is the music industry. But that it is also a throwback to the way things used to be done in the music industry. It's a new way of doing a timeless thing.
Should not have
- ANY OTHER COLOR than noted above. Please do NOT use blues, greens etc. These do NOT make sense. It should also not be off brand. If an icon totally doesn't make sense and feels forced do not add it for the sake of just putting one there. The words should be legible.
