This is to be a mascot character to Dachi-kun character (included), but an actual bear. The style should be pretty cartoony, and will ideally look good in just outlines and filled in. Ideally there will be three poses, sitting looking cute, standing making the "peace" sign, and standing with his arms outstretched like a hug.
