Web Design Brief

My company (StaceyJ) designs and creates ladies fashion garments. I am a one person company at the moment with plans to bring on additional staff as the workload increases. At this stage I would prefer to focus on developing regional clients around Wellington, New Zealand so I can personalise the service. Expansion beyond the Wellington region is a dream in the future if all goes well with the website and the business.

I love working with people to create fashion garments for them that showcase their personalities and beauty, whatever their body type or physical appearance. I love helping my clients select the best designs, fabrics, colours and styles to look and feel the very best they can appropriate to the occasion they are dressing for. Sometimes its high-end fashion, sometimes its for daily wearing and on the odd occasion its just to be quirky and have fun with fashion. Clients typically want that special garment or outfit for special occasions like balls, weddings, racedays, reunions, concerts, anniversaries, receptions, functions and formal gatherings.

I have created a range of garments (about 12) which I would like to be showcased on the website. I can reproduce those garment showcased for clients, or I could work with the client to create a special one of a kind outfit for them, or reproduce off an existing dress design, or alter an existing outfit. have a customer focussed industry that focussing on bespoke garments rather than trying to compete with low cost mass produced ladies fashion garment.

I would like to have the prospective clients contact me by email directly from the website and work with them to design, quote, produce and tailor what they want. These fashion garments will be more expensive than off-the-rack garments readily available in shops or online. But they will be specifically tailored for the individuals. Clients will be given a quote based upon the design, type and quantity of the material used before I create the garment.

A couple of quotes in regards to my fashion design that expresses my love for creating and producing great garments for people:
- Oscar Wilde - 'You can never be overdressed or overeducated.'
- Twiggy - 'There's no need to dress like everybody else. Its much more fun to create your own.'
- Gianni Versace- 'I really want to make clothes that are feminine and help women look beautiful.'

I want to have this website hosted on a server and I want to be able to amend and update the photos and other content myself.

I like a mix of old and new sewing related art/images.
