Logo Design Brief
*Please READ this project description carefully and look at the attached docs. Otherwise I will receive logos that do not meet our standards.
*Please just logo, no business cards or wall postings.
We need a new logo and we've had trouble with the current branding company we went to. Our current logo, in my opinion, is terrible and I've attached it. Our CEO is keen on the orange/black colour scheme and since he started the company and is attached, and I mean extremely attached to this dated logo, it just has to be similar to the orange that our original logo is but a colour scheme from that is acceptable. Personally, I think other colours can be justified but we need to stick with orange and black at least in variations of those colours, add a couple more if you feel necessary. I've attached previous answers from a company we hired in the attached brief and what they provided us.
*Please, I'm getting a lot of submissions but I need to also see an example of how it looks with the Cardiff Logo I attached.
*Please, I really need you to read the attached brief I gave for the previous company we are not happy with. There it will give a lot of answers to what I'm looking for.
*No BBox, has to be Black Box Academy.
*I have extended the timeline just because my team is highly indecisive, my CEO is very fond of our previous logo and it's a must I can take what you all have created to him and our team and convince them. Try maybe to look at our old logo and do a design that reflects it a little. We are a new school, transitioning over from one that lasted 18 years so it must be new to reflect how we've come from a diploma program to a degree program. We still are both but this is a new college in my mind altogether.

Need extra days to review
I had to leave Nepal on the 8th and won't be back till the 2nd of Sept. Until then we will just have to wait on this and I have to figure out with my indecisive team on my return on how to pick. I apologize, I'm working against a cultural barrier right now in terms of even the idea of crowdsourcing and tried to do a poll with our previous alumni but was vetoed down. After the 2nd I will deal with this since I'm having trouble with communication over email. Again, I apologize for your time in waiting. I very much appreciate everyone's efforts.

Requirements
Must have
- Must be more than just text, I want something to brand t-shirts with and folders and notebooks and water bottles. It must be interesting and creative and be able to be worked into our business card which we don't have yet. We have the word "box", maybe playing off package design templates? ... But I would like to try not to be literal. Going with a box just won't do, too literal is not what we want. I also do want a story behind it, please I need it to give a reason and story, something I am able to weave into a talk when I introduce the school.
Nice to have
- I don't want to give you anything because this is supposed to be from you.
Should not have
- A literal box, although maybe this isn't possible. I think that's a given and I also hate gradations. Please no. Also remember this is a Higher Education School and not a primary one.
