Logo Design Brief

Need to create a logo for high school mascot. Our primary school colors are:
Navy (RBG – 16, 17, 41) and Gold (RGB – 255, 215, 11). Secondary school color is white. Would prefer a simple logo. I really like the Ram logos I pulled from VCU and the NFL, (see attachments). Obviously, I can't use those exactly but I'd like to be as close as legally possible
