Graphic Design Brief
Create a logo, business card, and Facebook Business Page cover for our online financial services (planning, education, insurance, investments) company.
We provide education in personal finance (how to invest, what insurance to buy, how to save, how to budget, etc.), financial planning, life insurance, and investments. Our core products are financial education, and financial peace of mind from good planning and good products that we procure for clients.
We find, meet, and deliver service to our prospects and clients entirely online (facebook, instagram, etc). While we have existing clients that we meet with in-person, all of our new clients now come to us online through social media, and we likely will never meet with them. Our branding needs to generate trust and confidence.
Increasingly we expect that in much of our interactions with clients they will be on their phones or tablets, so simplicity is important due to screen size. We do not expect to create much in the way of print-based collaterals, other than some business cards. Anything done in print will likely be printed by the end-user (PDFs).
Our target market is 25-40 year-old married families with children. One important factor to most of our clients is to live without debt.
We are boldly differentiated from our competitors in the traditional financial service industry and so do not want to look like a traditional company in our industry, but do need to communicate that we are in the financial services space.
Our industry traditionally confuses and intimidates people, so we need to come across both as authoritative but also friendly and approachable.
