An existing website is being rebranded with a new name - "Inclusion Rules". A new logo is needed for the new brand. Details about the existing business can be seen at www.paulakluth.com. Dr. Paula Kluth is an author and independent consultant working in the education field. She provides training services for teachers. The focus of her works is on inclusive schooling, which means teaching all kids - with and without disabilities - together in the same classroom. Dr. Kluth provides strategies and ideas that teachers can use in the classroom.
Paula works with educators who teach classes from kindergarten to grade 12, so I do not want a design that is too-childlike or juvenile. However, using a ruler as a literal interpretation of the name should be considered. Paula's name should be less prominent than the text for "inclusion rules" (see the logo at differentiationdaily.com as a reference). Including a caricature of Paula in the logo could be considered but is not required.
The following are adjectives may be helpful in guiding the logo design: whimsical, clean, unique/original, * hand-drawn or hand-drawn appearance *.
The new logo should not be similar to the existing logo. Something entirely new is needed.
