Catalogue Design Brief

We need a inner page design for our 2014 product catalogue. There are two pages to be work on- the first two pages you would see when you open the catalog. We manufacture functional glass art products. All our products were hand blowned using the traditional methods and techiques in our own factory.

Our products are artfully hand-crafted, and colorful in design. We take everyday items, and express it through our medium in a art+ function idea. So the purpose of these 2 pages is to share with the readers, the thoughts, philosphy, values, and anthenticity of craftmanship behind each product.

Here are some example websites that have a similar introduction. What these introduction sections in these websites in purpose is what we want these two pages to serve in our catalog. To give a sense of authenticity, to share with the history and craftmanship behind the products, highlight value and selling points of the medium.

• The content of the two pages should include the 5 sections which show our cability, specialty and product charactors as below:
  1. our creativity & experience (should show our creativity in our product design, the unique details of our design)
  2. born in fire (our glass product were made through fire in very hight temprature fire oven)
  3. function + art(this section shows that our produts are combinations of functional and artistic designing)
  4. dancing in colors(this section should be colorful and cheerful)
  5. tell your own story(for our wall art plates for wall decor designs)
  
  Instruction:
  A4 format.
  1. The Instruction is in the Word file attached.
  The intrduction shows which picsbelong to which content section. Please feel free to use the pictures creatively.
  2. Product and setting pics attached.
  3. Text content in the Word file.
  

Nice to have

• Room for short phases and brief descriptions for the five sections described above.

Should not have

• pictures other than our own product pics.
